Based in South Auckland David consults at East Care and Ormiston Specialist Centre, and he operates at Mercy and Ormiston Hospitals.

David has extensive experience across most aspects of General Surgery and a special interest in breast, (benign and malignant), endocrine (thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal) and laparoscopic surgery. He was trained in NZ, and spent two years as a consultant breast and endocrine surgeon at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary in Scotland. David is also a consultant at Middlemore Hospital where he is the supervisor of training and involved in research. He is the lead surgeon for Breast Screening in Counties Manukau.
