Dr Aung is a New Zealand trained Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist with special interest in interventional endoscopy and hepatobiliary disorders.

He did his gastroenterology training in Middlemore Hospital, Waikato Hospital and New Zealand Liver Transplant Unit (Auckland City Hospital).

​

After completing his specialist training in New Zealand, He moved to Melbourne Australia for a year to further subspecialize in advanced interventional endoscopy at Western Health Melbourne where he gained valuable experience in both luminal and hepatobiliary interventions.
