Coronavirus Update

We are open for appointments for Alert Level 2, however, we ask that all patients please wear a face mask. This is not mandatory, and we have masks available should you require one. If you do not wish to come in during Alert Level 2 please contact us to reschedule your appointment. Please be aware we are taking every precaution to ensure our patients can visit our centre safely. We have heightened cleaning procedures and we are tracking everyone who enters our centre.

Before coming in, please ensure you:

• Are well upon entering and you do not have any respiratory infection symptoms which include any of the following: cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, head-cold symptoms (runny nose, sneezing), loss of sense of smell or a fever or are awaiting a respiratory virus test
   
• You have not returned from any overseas country within past 14 days or work in quarantine or are self-isolating
   
• You have not had close contact with someone who has the above travel or work history within past 14 days
   
• You have not had close contact with someone with current confirmed or probable COVID-19 or other respiratory infection in the last 14 days

This means we will ask that you ring us to let us know you have arrived for your appointment once you are outside. We will text you to let you in to our Centre when it is time for your appointment. We are unable to let more than one patient wait in our waiting area at our time due to physical distancing requirements. 

We have continued to ensure thorough cleaning procedures and have been screening all patients coming into our Centre. 

As part of our screening measures we are screening all patients for the following symptoms before coming in: 

• High fever
• Raised temperature
• Feeling feverish
• Sore throat
• Cough
• Chest discomfort
• Breathing difficulty
• Or muscle aches and pains (regardless of travel history)
• Travel and contact history 

Please call our Centre and seek advice BEFORE coming in if you are unsure.

Please follow the government guidelines on self-isolation if you are concerned about your health. We are doing everything we can at this difficult time to ensure our team and patients are kept safe.
